My end grain board does butcher block duty most of the time, and this on occasion. It’s built for the cleaver-and-chicken-thigh end of the job, which is what I had in mind during the glue-up. Every so often it gets a night off and holds brie, grapes and two small bowls of jam instead, which is a much easier shift for it. Nice thing about end grain is that it takes both.
